Guttering and Down pipes

For many years now guttering has been produced using plastic but some of the earlier types were not screened against ultra violet light which caused some problem with the colour and with the nature of the plastic.It could become brittle.

In the past to do a good job when repainting the wooden Fascia boards the guttering needed to be removed and this often resulted in breakages due to the brittle nature of the older plastic guttering.

Guttering today is made using plastic which has been screened against uv light and this makes it ideal for the job  its intended to do

All Weathered Exteriors always supplies and fits new plastic guttering because it makes sence when fitting new fascia etc to also have new guttering and of course it saves us the problem of trying to match up old guttering if we happen to damage it in the process of removing or refitting
